Green Water & Power Hits 15,000 EV Charger Milestone
With over 15,000 electric vehicle chargers now operational across the United States, Los Angeles-based Green Water & Power is scaling its infrastructure footprint. The company is pairing this hardware expansion with a half-million-dollar commitment to workforce training, aiming to secure a skilled labor pipeline for the clean-energy sector.
The company functions as a turnkey provider, managing the lifecycle of EV projects from initial design and permitting to long-term maintenance. By partnering with more than 30 utility and state incentive programs, they have streamlined the financial hurdles often associated with electrification for clients ranging from public agencies to multifamily property managers. Maureen Funk, project manager at Rockdyne Ent., LLC, noted that the firm recently executed a rollout of 164 Level 2 chargers across seven properties, highlighting the efficiency of the end-to-end management model.
Beyond hardware, the firm’s growth strategy centers on internal human capital. Green Water & Power has invested more than $500,000 into professional development for its 130-plus employees, covering costs for certifications such as EVITP, OSHA standards, and registered electrical apprenticeships. These programs allow staff to transition from apprentices to journeymen and leadership roles without out-of-pocket expenses. To date, 21 employees have achieved EVITP certification, while 33 have qualified as Registered Service Agents, signaling a shift toward building deep technical expertise alongside national infrastructure deployment.
