JuryBall Vegas Returns to Shift Trial Advocacy Toward Big Data
The era of relying on gut instinct in the courtroom is ending, as JuryBall prepares to host its four-day intensive conference at the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas from November 1–5. The event gathers plaintiff attorneys and litigation experts to exchange research on how empirical data shapes jury behavior and damages.
Founded by Sean Claggett, John Campbell, and Alicia Campbell—the authors behind the book JuryBall: The Big Data Revolution Is Here—the conference prioritizes evidence-based strategy over traditional legal assumptions. Attendees will participate in real-time study simulations and workshops designed to bridge the gap between academic research and courtroom practice. Organizers emphasize that the curriculum aims to equip lawyers with proprietary tools for case evaluation and pre-trial decision-making, a method already linked to several record-breaking verdicts.
The program offers up to 12 CLE credits and features a mix of academic presentations and networking events, including a golf tournament and private dinners. Building on the success of the recent JuryBall Madrid gathering, the Vegas event serves as an extension of the creators' mission to standardize data-driven advocacy.
