Anheuser-Busch Debuts 10-Ton Mobile Bar Built From Combine Harvester
To mark America’s 250th birthday, Anheuser-Busch is taking a 10-ton, custom-engineered combine harvester on a nationwide tour. The mobile bar, dubbed the ComBar, serves as a centerpiece for the brewer's ongoing initiative to steer consumers toward beer brands made with at least 95% U.S.-grown agricultural ingredients.
The massive mobile structure features original harvesting equipment repurposed into beer taps and custom fixtures, acting as a physical tribute to the 700 American farmers who supply the company with barley, rice, corn, and hops. Each year, the St. Louis-based brewer invests $700 million into U.S. agriculture, a commitment that has earned several of its flagship products—including Budweiser, Bud Light, and Busch Light—official U.S. Farmed certification.
"The ComBar brings that commitment to life in a way only Anheuser-Busch can—by transforming an iconic symbol of the harvest into a celebration of the people who make our beers possible," said Cesar Vargas, the company's Chief External Affairs Officer. The vehicle will visit agricultural hubs and community festivals throughout the summer, with stops scheduled at the Iowa State Fair, the Farm Progress Show in Boone, and Husker Harvest Days in Grand Island, among other locations. The tour aims to reinforce the company's "Choose Beer Grown Here" campaign, highlighting the economic impact of sourcing ingredients domestically rather than relying on international supply chains.
