Gregg Majewski Named EY Midwest Entrepreneur Of The Year

Gregg Majewski, the founder and CEO of Craveworthy Brands, has been named an EY US Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026 Midwest Award winner. Selected from a field of 65 program participants, Majewski earns the distinction for his rapid scaling of a multi-brand restaurant platform that now spans over 20 concepts.

A finance-trained operator with three decades of experience, Majewski built his reputation at Jimmy John's, where he helped expand the chain from 30 to over 300 locations. In late 2022, he launched Craveworthy Brands, a platform designed to provide shared infrastructure for both emerging concepts and legacy restaurant brands. Today, the company oversees 300 locations and has surpassed $300 million in systemwide sales, with a stated trajectory toward $1 billion.

The portfolio includes high-profile names such as Big Chicken, founded by Shaquille O'Neal, and Taffer's Tavern. Beyond the financial metrics, Majewski emphasizes a corporate culture he terms "people, product and process," which prioritizes internal training programs like Crave University. He maintains that his ultimate goal is to facilitate 100,000 career success stories for his staff and franchisees.

Following this regional win, Majewski will compete for the national title at the Strategic Growth Forum in November. The independent judging panel evaluated candidates based on long-term value creation, purpose-driven commitment, and overall market impact. Should he succeed at the national level, he will represent the United States at the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year competition in May 2027.
