YFORE Launches Radar-Integrated Monitoring to Solve Cabin Blind Spots
YFORE Technology inaugurated its new North American manufacturing hub in Georgia by unveiling an Occupant & Driver Monitoring System designed to eliminate traditional vision-based blind spots. The architecture merges smart-mirror optical tracking with cabin-grade radar, targeting improved safety ratings for global automotive manufacturers.

Conventional vision-only systems often fail when occupants are obscured by seatbacks, blankets, or footwell positioning. To address these limitations, YFORE’s new ODMS platform pairs a high-definition, mirror-integrated camera with roof-mounted radar. This fusion allows the system to track driver fatigue and distraction while simultaneously detecting micro-breathing in rear rows, regardless of physical obstructions.
The system covers seven distinct safety functions, including occupant classification, seatbelt monitoring, and life presence detection. By consolidating these sensors into the mirror and a singular radar module, the design removes the need for multiple headliner cutouts and complex wiring bundles. This streamlined approach simplifies integration for OEMs aiming to meet rigorous Euro NCAP five-star standards without compromising interior cabin aesthetics.
