Lewandowski founded Discogs 25 years ago. The site combines a marketplace for buying and selling records with a detailed database documenting albums, singles and different releases and pressings. It has also built a community through forums, groups and user-created lists.

Asked how many browser tabs he keeps open, Lewandowski estimated about 30 on his work computer and 40 or 50 on his personal one. He said he occasionally looks at X and Instagram but does not post much. The interview’s final question asked about his favorite gadget; Lewandowski began by saying he likes to tinker, but the available source ends before his answer is complete.
