LaserAway Marks Two Decades of Growth With 229th Clinic Opening
Two decades after launching a single clinic on Sunset Boulevard, LaserAway has expanded into a national powerhouse with the opening of its 229th location in University Park, Florida. The milestone underscores a streak of continuous growth for the firm, which has avoided a single clinic closure since 2006.
Founded by Dr. Roy Winston alongside brothers Scott, Brock, and Todd Heckmann, the company bypassed the franchise model to maintain private control over its nationwide footprint. Today, the brand operates across 36 states, relying on a workforce of over 700 nurses and a medical board led by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Will Kirby. According to CEO Scott Heckmann, the strategy focused on democratizing dermatological services that were once reserved for a select few.
The new Florida facility offers a comprehensive menu of non-invasive procedures, ranging from Botox and dermal fillers to body contouring services like CoolSculpting and Thermage. All treatments are performed by licensed medical professionals, reflecting the company’s emphasis on combining clinical precision with retail convenience.
