IGEL Adds Teguar Hardware to Secure Endpoint Ecosystem
Teguar has joined the IGEL Ready program, integrating its specialized medical and industrial-grade hardware with the IGEL Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform. This partnership targets organizations operating in challenging environments, such as manufacturing floors and clinical settings, that require durable hardware coupled with centralized, immutable software management.
The collaboration allows IT departments to deploy IGEL OS on Teguar’s ruggedized industrial computers and waterproof all-in-one medical tablets. By combining Teguar’s purpose-built hardware with IGEL’s Universal Management Suite, companies can enforce consistent security policies and software updates across distributed locations. This infrastructure is designed to support Zero Trust architectures, ensuring that the device layer remains secure even in non-traditional office settings.
Jim Airdo, IGEL’s Senior VP of Strategic Alliances, noted that the integration addresses the growing demand for reliability and governance in specialized workspaces. Kevin Jones, Teguar’s Global VP of Sales and Marketing, added that the validation ensures compatibility for customers needing to maintain secure, centrally managed access to cloud-based applications, virtual desktops, and browser workflows without compromising on physical hardware durability.
