Schaures functions as outside general counsel for a diverse client base that includes private equity firms, technology companies, and nonprofit organizations. Her work frequently involves navigating international capital markets, corporate restructurings, and tax-sensitive transaction structures. By advising on everything from executive compensation to family office succession planning, she provides a comprehensive legal framework for businesses throughout their growth cycles.

Firm leadership views the addition as a strategic move to bolster their presence in the Pacific Northwest. Brian L. Duffy, CEO of Greenberg Traurig, noted that Schaures’ ability to balance rapid business expansion with governance and tax considerations makes her a valuable resource for clients in the region. Global Corporate Practice Co-Chair Daniella Genet Silberstein added that Schaures’ experience aligns with the firm’s commitment to providing practical, industry-specific counsel to clients managing complex commercial agreements and large-scale joint ventures.
