AVAIO Digital Taps Teresa Tsung to Lead Project Controls
Teresa Tsung, a veteran of North American hyperscale construction, joins AVAIO Digital as Vice President of Project Controls. Her appointment arrives as the firm scales four active campus developments, aiming to bridge the critical gap between massive data center delivery and the complex power infrastructure required to energize them.

Tsung brings two decades of experience to the Stamford-based developer, most recently serving as Vice President of Project Controls for North America at Vantage Data Centers. During her tenure there, she managed cost and schedule oversight for a portfolio exceeding $40 billion, covering projects ranging from 16MW to 3GW. Her background also includes an executive stint at MasTec Power Delivery, where she directed controls for national transmission, substation, and distribution assets.
CEO Mark McComiskey emphasized that Tsung’s dual expertise in data center development and energy delivery is a strategic necessity for the firm’s current growth trajectory. Her career, which began in EPC and energy project scheduling, includes leadership roles at PLH Group where she founded the company’s first Women’s Resource Group. At AVAIO, Tsung will oversee controls across the company's entire active pipeline, balancing the intense demands of AI and hyperscale clients with the constraints of modern power grid integration.
