Huawei AppGallery Named Best App Store Experience at Mobile Games Awards
Amid the bustling halls of Gamescom in Cologne, Huawei’s AppGallery secured the Leading App Store Experience title at the 2026 Mobile Games Awards. The honor marks a significant milestone for the platform, which has steadily climbed to become the world’s third-largest app marketplace since its 2018 debut.
The accolade recognizes the platform's efforts to balance a growing global game catalog with localized initiatives and exclusive player rewards. Beyond store-wide recognition, the title Petal Paws earned the Best Trending AppGallery Game award, signaling the store's effectiveness in elevating developer projects to a worldwide audience.
Jaime Gonzalo, VP of Huawei Mobile Services Europe, attributed the success to a relentless focus on user experience and a thriving developer ecosystem. Huawei is leveraging the Gamescom spotlight to push further, showcasing its GameCenter integration and a library of over a thousand mini-games.
