Amazon sets November debut for Melania Trump series
Amazon plans to release a two-part Prime Video series about First Lady Melania Trump on November 20, following the documentary film Melania, which premiered earlier this year. The series promises accounts of her life and the days after the 47th Presidential Inauguration.
Titled Melania: The Series, the show is described in a press release as revealing “never-before-told stories” and offering “unprecedented insight into Melania Trump’s life.”
The first episode, “Family & Trust,” follows Trump as she sets priorities ahead of becoming First Lady and navigates questions of trust and the demands of power inside the White House, according to Amazon’s episode description.
The second, “Pride & Honor,” focuses on the immediate call to action that comes with serving as First Lady. The description says Trump sets her mission in motion for the American people moments after the inauguration.
Brett Ratner, who directed the Melania documentary, directed both episodes of the series.
