muVpix Sweeps VERTIES as Romeo & Juliet Adaptation Debuts

Directed by Casey Jackson, Swipe Left: Dying for Love became a critical and fan favorite for its blend of suspense and psychological intrigue. The series, which follows a young professional navigating a dating app linked to a string of mysterious deaths, also took home trophies for Best Script and Best Edit. Producer John Lewis credited the win to the collaborative efforts of the cast—including Sarah Moliski, Felix Merback, and Tyler Scherer—and the production team at Snow Story Productions.

Following the awards ceremony, muVpix debuted its latest project, Romeo & Juliet, Reimagined. The 45-episode series moves the classic tragedy into the modern criminal underworld of Los Angeles, starring Gabrielle Faith Brown and Crayton Carrozza. This production marks the first release from a strategic partnership between muVpix and BuzzFeed Studios, designed to scale high-quality, mobile-first storytelling. The series is produced in both vertical and horizontal formats and features a wide ensemble cast, including Jordan Barrett and TravQue, under the direction of Max Decker.
