Azitra Regains NYSE American Listing Compliance

The Branford-based biopharmaceutical firm Azitra has successfully resolved its listing deficiencies, clearing the path to remove the 'below compliance' indicator from its NYSE American ticker. The company received official confirmation from exchange regulators this week, signaling a return to full standing after addressing previous financial reporting requirements.

NYSE Regulation notified the company on August 19 that it has met the standards outlined in Sections 1003(a)(ii) and 1003(a)(iii) of the exchange's company guide. With this hurdle cleared, the firm will no longer carry the .BC designation on the exchange’s platform. While the immediate threat of delisting has subsided, the company remains under standard monitoring procedures to ensure continued adherence to financial governance guidelines.

CEO Francisco Salva noted that the company is shifting its focus back to its core clinical pipeline. Development efforts are now centered on the ATR-COSF recombinant protein technology and the ATR-04 program, an investigational therapy targeting rash associated with EGFR inhibitors. The firm maintains a 12-month window during which any recurring compliance issues could trigger an accelerated review or delisting proceedings, placing pressure on management to sustain the financial discipline demonstrated over the past quarter.
