Deere & Company Reports $1.379 Billion Net Income for Third Quarter
Deere & Company posted a net income of $1.379 billion for the fiscal third quarter ending August 2, 2026, marking a rise from the $1.289 billion reported during the same period last year. The Moline-based manufacturer expects full-year net income to fall between $4.75 billion and $5.00 billion.

Worldwide net sales and revenues climbed 5 percent to $12.608 billion for the quarter, bolstered by disciplined execution across the company’s diverse portfolio. While the Production & Precision Agriculture segment faced headwinds from lower shipment volumes, resulting in a 9 percent decline in operating profit, the Small Agriculture & Turf and Construction & Forestry divisions reported significant gains. The latter saw an 84 percent surge in operating profit, reaching $436 million, driven by higher shipment volumes and favorable price realization.
CEO John C. May cited resilient business performance and stable U.S. market conditions as key drivers. Addressing the broader outlook, May stated that the company views 2026 as the bottom of the current agricultural equipment cycle. Confidence for long-term growth is supported by early order trends, improved used-equipment inventories, and rising customer adoption of advanced precision technologies.
