Founded in 1995 by Jimmy Lee, the firm has spent the last decade refining its hybrid RIA model to bridge the gap between total independence and corporate-style support. By offloading back-office complexities to a centralized team, the platform allows financial advisors to focus on client-facing duties rather than administrative overhead. This strategy has proven effective in attracting veteran advisors who seek a permanent professional home without sacrificing ownership of their practice.

Central to this expansion is the firm’s Partners Program, which provides advisors with pathways for capital access and business succession planning. According to Matt Gilliam, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, the firm’s growth is a direct result of meeting advisors where they are, whether that involves scaling their enterprise value or navigating complex monetization plans. President Andy Kalbaugh notes that the firm’s ability to offer deep planning resources alongside shared services has become a primary driver for advisors who prioritize long-term financial alignment over simple payout structures.
