LG Debuts XBOOM Power Series With AI-Driven Karaoke Features
LG Electronics is expanding its audio portfolio with the XBOOM Power Series, a trio of high-output speakers designed to anchor social gatherings. The new flagship lineup, which includes the 9000, 7000, and 5000 models, integrates professional-grade sound tuning by will.i.am with automated tools meant to simplify live performance and interactive hosting.
The hardware is tailored to specific event scales, ranging from the flagship Power 9000—capable of covering 2,000 square meters—to the more compact Power 5000. Each unit features the XBOOM Signature Sound, a profile refined by the Grammy-winning artist to emphasize bass clarity. Beyond raw output, the speakers lean heavily into social utility, incorporating AI Karaoke Master technology. This system uses vocal removal and real-time key adjustment to convert standard music library tracks into karaoke-ready files, removing the need for specialized content.
To manage different acoustic environments, the series employs Space Calibration Pro, which automatically tunes output based on room layout and size. Connectivity is bolstered by Auracast technology, allowing multiple units to sync for expansive coverage. While LG has confirmed the hardware specifications and feature set, the company has not yet disclosed official pricing or specific retail launch dates for the United States.
