Purecore Metals Enters OTCQB Market to Target US Uranium Investors

Purecore Metals Inc. has expanded its reach into the United States, launching trading for its common shares on the OTCQB Venture Market under the ticker PPURF. This non-dilutive move provides American investors direct access to the company’s Canadian uranium assets without requiring new share issuance or additional capital raises.

The company maintains its primary listing on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the symbol PURE. By establishing a U.S. dollar market, Purecore intends to simplify investment for American retail and institutional participants. The firm has also applied for Depository Trust Company eligibility to streamline electronic clearing and settlement across U.S. brokerages, with a determination expected in the coming weeks.

President and CEO Peter Berdusco framed the expansion as a strategic response to the significant supply gap facing the U.S. nuclear sector. With American utilities carrying 184 million pounds of unfilled uranium requirements through 2034, reliance on external suppliers has grown. Canada currently provides 36% of U.S. uranium deliveries, making projects in regions like the Athabasca Basin increasingly central to U.S. energy security. Purecore holds an option on 35,029 hectares within that basin, positioning its exploration success as a potential solution to regional supply constraints.
