BTQ Technologies Shareholders Confirm Board and Omnibus Incentive Plan

With nearly 50% of outstanding common shares represented at the 2026 Annual Meeting in Vancouver, BTQ Technologies Corp. secured shareholder approval for its director slate and the reauthorization of its omnibus equity incentive plan. The vote solidifies the company’s governance structure as it pivots toward quantum-ready infrastructure.

Shareholders voted to fix the size of the board at five members, with the motion passing on 99.52% support. The elected directors include Olivier Roussy Newton, Chris Tam, Philippe Lucet, Mansour Al Suwaidi, and Lionel de Saint-Exupery. Support for the individual nominees remained robust, ranging from 94.89% to 99.49% of the votes cast.

Beyond board elections, the company confirmed the appointment of MNP LLP as its auditor for the coming year. The firm’s omnibus equity incentive plan also received formal backing, securing approval from 92.32% of participating shareholders. A total of 70,852,597 shares were voted during the August 12 session, representing 49.97% of the company's issued and outstanding stock.
