Health In Tech Reports Q2 Loss Amidst Ongoing Expansion Investment

Health In Tech, an AI-driven InsurTech platform based in Stuart, Florida, reported a net loss of $2.5 million for the second quarter of 2026, shifting from a $0.6 million profit in the same period last year as the company funneled capital into technology development and sales infrastructure.

Revenue for the second quarter reached $8.1 million, down from $9.3 million in 2025. Despite the quarterly dip, the company is maintaining its full-year revenue guidance of $45 million to $50 million. This optimism is anchored by a growing network of distribution partners, which expanded by 19.9% year-over-year to 933 entities, including brokers and third-party administrators.

CEO Tim Johnson attributed the current financial performance to a strategic push aimed at long-term market capture. The company is actively scaling its pipeline, which stood at $66.3 million as of July 31, 2026. Management is currently preparing for the launch of HitRix, a next-generation marketplace platform intended to automate complex underwriting processes across the self-funded insurance sector. While the firm currently faces downward pressure on net income, it has secured its first employer group for a new Three-Year Rate Stabilization Program, signaling progress in its efforts to diversify revenue streams beyond standard 12-month policy cycles.
