Zenoti Pivots Beauty and Wellness Tech Toward Predictive AI

Managers in the beauty and wellness sector have long operated in the rearview mirror, responding to guest churn or inventory shortages only after they occur. Seattle-based Zenoti is now attempting to flip that dynamic, launching a suite of AI agents designed to forecast business outcomes before they manifest.

The platform’s new Predictive Intelligence suite targets three operational pillars: guest retention, staffing, and inventory management. Rather than relying on historical averages, the system processes real-time data—ranging from appointment velocity and service consumption to the tone of customer messages—to generate forward-looking projections. By integrating conversational intelligence with transaction records, the software aims to flag at-risk clients or supply gaps before they impact the bottom line.

For operators like Mia Crawford, director of retail operations at Viva Day Spa, the shift has already altered procurement habits. Instead of relying on manual estimates, the inventory agent uses specific consumption patterns to automate ordering, effectively trimming excess stock and freeing up capital.

Zenoti’s approach relies on a dual-data strategy: deep, unified information from an individual business paired with broad industry insights drawn from its network of 30,000 clients. According to CEO Sudheer Koneru, the goal is to move the industry from a reactive state to an anticipatory one. As CPTO Anand Arvind notes, the divide in the coming decade will likely be defined by which businesses adopt these predictive models and which continue to rely on traditional, hindsight-based management.
