Position² Launches StudioX to Speed Up 3D Product Rendering

Santa Clara-based Position² has unveiled StudioX, a browser-based platform designed to turn multi-week 3D visual production cycles into same-day tasks for internal marketing teams. By allowing non-specialists to render custom product shots, the company aims to eliminate common bottlenecks in the product launch and sales enablement workflows.

For companies in sectors like consumer electronics and automotive, 3D assets are central to revenue generation. According to Vikram Raghavachari, who leads the Computing Systems unit at Position², marketing teams often struggle with slow agency turnarounds, forcing them to rely on generic stock imagery that fails to capture a product's full appeal. StudioX removes this friction by allowing marketers to work directly with approved 3D files to adjust lighting, focal length, and product configurations without needing specialized technical skills.

The platform functions by having specialists prepare product-specific components, which clients then assemble within an intuitive interface. Rajesh Muthyalu, who leads experience and design, likens the process to a salad bar where the firm provides the ingredients and the client composes the final shot. Beyond increasing speed, the shift toward 3D rendering reduces the need for expensive logistics, such as shipping physical prototypes or managing multi-location photo shoots. Position² CEO Rajiv Parikh stated that the tool was developed to address years of client frustration, emphasizing the company's commitment to integrating AI-native execution into enterprise growth strategies. StudioX is currently available for enterprise use.
