Thames21 is the voice of London Waterways, working with communities to improve rivers and canals for people and wildlife. The company mobilizes thousands of volunteers each year to clean and green the capital's 400-mile waterway network.

Thames21 strives to turn abandoned waterways into areas that everyone can enjoy and enjoy with innovative and personalized community approaches.

Our history:

Thames21 is developed through a partnership program supported by Keep Britain Tidy, Port London Authority, Environmental Protection Agency, Thames Water, British Waterways, London Corporation and 19 local authorities. The charitable organization is currently independent and funded by various charitable foundations, companies and government funding.
