Loomis Targets Argentine Growth with Transportadora del Interior Buyout
With an enterprise value of ARS 27.5 billion, Loomis is set to acquire the Argentine cash management firm Transportadora del Interior S.A. The deal, slated to close in the third quarter of 2026, marks a significant push for the Swedish firm to deepen its footprint in the country’s high-density economic hubs.

Transportadora del Interior, headquartered in Rosario, brings three new branches into the Loomis network, specifically targeting the Santa Fe and Córdoba provinces. Since its founding in 2018, the company has established itself as a key provider of cash-in-transit and management services for both retail and financial institutions, employing roughly 200 staff and utilizing a modern vehicle fleet. In 2025, the firm generated revenues of approximately ARS 14.6 billion.
Loomis CEO Aritz Larrea noted the acquisition aligns with the group's ongoing strategy to scale its presence in emerging Latin American markets. By integrating these operations into its existing Argentine structure—active since 2012—Loomis gains a strategic foothold in the nation's three largest cities: Buenos Aires, Córdoba, and Rosario. Post-acquisition, the company intends to drive further volume by expanding automated service offerings to small and medium-sized enterprises. The transaction is projected to be accretive to the group's operating profit, or EBITA, once integrated.
