Traba Unveils Neo to Automate Supply Chain Decision-Making

Warehouse and logistics operators have long relied on gut instinct to navigate fragmented software stacks, but Traba’s new AI platform, Neo, aims to replace that guesswork. By integrating with existing ERP, TMS, and WMS systems, the tool proactively identifies risks and executes operational tasks without requiring a total system overhaul.

Traba, a firm backed by Founders Fund and Khosla Ventures, developed Neo after spending years embedded in industrial facilities. The platform bridges the gap between disparate back-office software and real-world floor conditions. Instead of just surfacing data, Neo intervenes by automating back-office processes like carrier claims and post-shipment exceptions while optimizing labor forecasting.

Akshay Buddiga, Traba’s co-founder and CTO, noted that the industry’s primary failure was never a lack of data, but the inability of existing systems to act upon it. Neo functions as an overlay, meaning operators can deploy it without the disruption of replacing their current infrastructure. Early testing with 3PL provider ShipSmarter demonstrated tangible results: the firm reclaimed eight hours of administrative work per week and reduced per-order labor costs by 20% within the first month. Founder Cody Branham highlighted that the system goes beyond general-purpose AI, successfully resolving complex shipping errors that standard LLMs struggle to manage. As Traba scales the technology, CEO Mike Shebat plans to expand Neo’s reach into network-wide profitability and asset optimization, aiming to finally unify the digital and physical components of industrial supply chains.
