Crisis24 Launches Maritime Operations Hub in Manila

Crisis24 has established a new 24/7 Maritime Operations Center in Manila, positioning its crisis response and intelligence services within one of the world's primary seafaring hubs. The facility aims to bolster the firm’s ability to manage high-stakes maritime threats, ranging from piracy and geopolitical conflict to complex sanctions compliance.

The Manila facility integrates the legacy expertise of Drum Cussac and NYA International, serving as a central node for ship owners, insurers, and legal firms. By utilizing the proprietary MarTrack platform, the center provides real-time vessel tracking and behavioral analytics, alongside constant monitoring of AIS interference and sanctions exposure. According to Crisis24 President Sid Kosaraju, the expansion addresses the urgent need for rapid, localized response capabilities in volatile regions such as the Indo-Pacific, Somalia, Nigeria, and Haiti.

The firm’s maritime team managed over 350 crisis activations last year, including high-risk extractions and negotiations in conflict zones like Southern Ukraine, Yemen, and the Gulf of Guinea. By situating the new operations hub in the Philippines, the company gains direct access to a specialized talent pool, allowing it to maintain its operational tempo for sensitive investigations and emergency support. This center functions as a key component of the company's broader global network, designed to provide intelligence-led forecasting and immediate incident coordination for maritime stakeholders operating in high-risk domains.
