Capstone Partners Promotes Yogesh Punjabi to Lead Consumer Banking
Yogesh Punjabi has been named Head of the Consumer Industry Investment Banking Group at Capstone Partners, stepping into the role as the Boston-based firm seeks to capitalize on recent expansion following its acquisition of TM Capital.

A veteran with 15 years of investment banking experience, Punjabi joined Capstone in 2019 and has since become a fixture of the firm’s investment banking committee. His tenure has been marked by a focus on the automotive aftermarket, where he has steered complex deals including the acquisition of Max Auto Supply by Midas International and Bertram Capital’s purchase of Left Lane Auto. These transactions, alongside his role in managing the firm’s proprietary market intelligence, have earned him recognition from organizations such as the M&A Advisor and Global M&A Network.
Founder and President John Ferrara noted that Punjabi’s appointment serves as a strategic move to maintain the firm’s growth trajectory. As Capstone integrates its recent acquisition of TM Capital, the firm is banking on Punjabi to scale the Consumer Group’s operations and navigate an increasingly volatile middle-market landscape. With 175 professionals across the U.S., the firm remains a subsidiary of Huntington Bancshares Incorporated.
