Israeli and Palestinian Leaders Present Joint Peace Blueprint at G7
In a rare display of cross-border consensus, 150 Israeli and Palestinian civil society leaders converged in Paris to present "The Paris Call 2026" to global diplomats. The joint blueprint, unveiled ahead of the G7 Summit in Évian-les-Bains, seeks to bypass geopolitical gridlock with actionable strategies for stability and humanitarian relief.

The Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP) released footage documenting the intensive collaboration between these grassroots leaders and foreign ministers from over a dozen nations. Unlike top-down policy debates, the Paris conference focused on synchronized recommendations for ceasefires and regional peace frameworks, featuring firsthand appeals from individuals directly affected by the ongoing conflict. The event also highlighted significant financial commitments, including the launch of an International Fund for Israeli-Palestinian Peace backed by the UK, Canada, and Australia. Canada additionally pledged $100 million in humanitarian aid, while the European Union confirmed an €18 million investment into peacebuilding efforts. EU High Representative Kaja Kallas emphasized that civil society is not merely an auxiliary to diplomacy, but an indispensable component for lasting stability. ALLMEP, a coalition representing over 200 member NGOs, has seen its network grow by more than 30% since October 7th, signaling a surge in community-led efforts to influence high-level international negotiations.
