Texans Credit Union Secures Top Spot in Forbes State Rankings
Texans Credit Union has claimed the number one position on Forbes’ 2026 list of America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions. The Richardson-based institution earned the top honor by securing high marks from consumers in categories ranging from trust and financial guidance to digital experience and overall service satisfaction.

The Forbes ranking, compiled alongside market research firm Statista, draws on data from approximately 26,000 nationwide survey respondents. For President and CEO David Frazier, the accolade serves as validation of the firm's internal culture. He noted that the recognition stems directly from member feedback regarding the quality of relationships cultivated by the credit union's staff.
This top ranking follows a period of consistent industry acknowledgement for the organization. Texans Credit Union recently secured a spot on Newsweek’s list of best regional banks and credit unions, while also maintaining a three-year streak on The Dallas Morning News’ Top 100 Places to Work list. Internally, the credit union has prioritized a strategy focused on expanding its branch footprint and integrating new technology to support its 70-year-old mission of providing personalized financial guidance. The firm currently manages a full suite of banking, lending, and investment services aimed at the Texas market.
