Scott’s practice focuses on ERISA disputes, including pension and disability claims, alongside severance and health benefit class actions. Her arrival bolsters the firm’s litigation capabilities in Northern California, specifically regarding the San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System. Senior Partner Susan Meter noted that Scott’s background in advocating for retirees aligns with the firm’s mission, highlighting her extensive experience as a critical asset for their clients.

Her legal career includes significant victories, such as the 2017 ruling in Irvin v. Contra Costa County Employees' Retirement Association and a $36.8 million judgment in Beeson v. Fireman's Fund Insurance Co., Inc. A consistent presence on Northern California Super Lawyers lists since 2019, Scott also contributes to industry discourse as a co-chair for the National Employment Lawyers' Association’s Employee Benefits Committee and as an author for BNA publications. A graduate of UC Berkeley School of Law, she previously served as a partner at a plaintiff-side firm and held roles with the EEOC and Legal Aid at Work.
