QDOBA Adds Spicy Steak and Churro Chips to Summer Menu
QDOBA is shifting its seasonal strategy toward bold, high-impact flavors with the nationwide launch of Spicy Tequila Lime Steak and cinnamon-dusted Churro Chips. Starting June 16, the fast-casual chain is augmenting its menu with these limited-time additions while rolling out a tiered rewards program to drive customer engagement.

The new steak offering incorporates Cholula Original Hot Sauce into the chain’s signature flame-grilled beef, providing a tangy, heat-forward profile that can be customized across its standard burrito and bowl platforms. Alongside the protein, the brand is introducing Churro Chips, representing its first dedicated dessert launch in over a decade. Inspired by traditional buñuelos, these fried-in-house snacks are finished with cinnamon sugar and serve as a tactical push to boost late-day and dessert-focused traffic.
Beyond the menu updates, the company has initiated "Summer Rewards on Q," an incentive program running through July 26. To participate, loyalty members must spend at least $5 weekly to unlock rotating perks, which include double protein portions, loyalty point multipliers, and direct discounts. According to Chief Marketing Officer Jon Burke, the initiative aims to pair culinary innovation with surprise incentives to maintain customer frequency throughout the summer months. Both the new steak and dessert options are available for individual orders and catering.
