Nick Dhesi, managing partner of the firm’s Houston office, highlighted Nelson’s entrepreneurial spirit and reputation as key factors in the firm’s ongoing Texas growth strategy. Stelios Saffos, global chair of Latham’s Capital Markets and Public Company Representation Practices, noted that Nelson’s background aligns with the firm’s goal of providing clients with a holistic view of financing options across the capital structure. Nelson, a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin School of Law, emphasized that the firm’s collaborative culture and platform depth were primary drivers for his transition.
