Apple Pencil support expected for upcoming iPhone Duo
Max Weinbach, an analyst at Creative Strategies, suggests that iOS 27 will finally introduce Apple Pencil compatibility for the iPhone Duo. While the software remains in its release candidate stage, the feature appears locked in for the final version, fulfilling a promise made during the device's initial unveiling.
When Apple first introduced the foldable handset, the company committed to bringing stylus integration to the hardware before the end of the year. The current beta cycle indicates that this timeline remains on track, as code references within the latest release candidate point toward active implementation. Although Apple could technically pull the functionality before the public rollout, the internal progress suggests that users will soon be able to utilize the Pencil across their foldable displays.
