Twitch launches Stream Recaps to condense missed broadcasts
Twitch is introducing Stream Recaps, a feature designed to provide users with a condensed highlight reel of broadcasts they were unable to attend live. By curating key moments into a single package, the platform aims to help viewers stay current with their favorite creators without committing to hours of footage.
The tool functions as an automated summary, pulling clips generated by streamers and their designated editors. While the system populates these reels by default, creators retain full control over the final output. Streamers can manually add, remove, or reorder specific clips to ensure the recap accurately reflects the most significant events of their broadcast.
