WPG Americas and Nuvoton Strike North American Distribution Deal
San Jose-based WPG Americas has entered a strategic partnership with Nuvoton Technology Corporation America to distribute a broad range of high-performance semiconductor solutions. The agreement aims to streamline supply chains and provide North American engineers with direct access to specialized microcontrollers, security ICs, and sensor interface products.
The collaboration integrates Nuvoton’s 8-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers, audio processors, and battery management systems into WPG Americas’ existing distribution network. By combining these semiconductor components with WPG’s local engineering support and logistical infrastructure, the companies intend to reduce design cycles for developers working in industrial, automotive, and IoT sectors.
Chris Miller, President of WPG Americas, noted that the deal enhances the firm's ability to offer technical guidance alongside hardware procurement. Raman Sargis, President of Nuvoton Technology Corporation America, emphasized that leveraging WPG’s established market footprint will accelerate the adoption of Nuvoton’s embedded technologies. Engineers will gain access to Nuvoton’s development tools and evaluation boards, backed by WPG’s field application teams, to address complex requirements in secure cloud connectivity and power management.
