Bind AI Automates Insurance Brokerage Workflows with $10 Million Funding

Insurance brokers spend nearly 90% of their time bogged down by administrative paperwork rather than client interaction. New York-based startup Bind AI aims to reverse this ratio, launching its autonomous workforce platform today with $10 million in venture backing to handle everything from submission intake to final binding.

The platform functions as a silent partner within existing agency ecosystems, integrating directly into email inboxes and carrier portals. By processing inbound documents and automating the quote-to-bind lifecycle, the system eliminates the need for manual data entry or redundant software portals. Founder Tony Marshi notes that the technology focuses on delivering completed outcomes rather than just providing new tools, allowing brokers to shift their focus back to client acquisition and retention.

Already active across hundreds of agencies, the company manages billions of dollars in commercial premium. The recent $10 million funding round, led by Bonfire Ventures with participation from Draper Associates and Ramp co-founder Karim Atiyeh, will support continued expansion of the New York-based team. By automating the most tedious aspects of commercial insurance, Bind AI is positioning itself to modernize legacy workflows across a trillion-dollar industry.
