Operating across major markets including Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia, Scanntech processes granular, ticket-level transaction data directly from point-of-sale systems. This approach allows the company to cover over 80% of retail sell-out in its active regions, providing more than 600 manufacturers and distributors with real-time insights into pricing, inventory, and promotional performance. The firm intends to use the new funding to deepen these analytics capabilities and enter new consumer categories.

Dirk Donath, a managing partner at L Catterton, noted that the platform’s ability to turn raw transaction data into practical intelligence aligns with their strategy of backing high-growth consumer businesses. Existing investors, including Warburg Pincus, IFC, and Endeavor, will maintain their stakes alongside the new financing partners. The transaction, which was facilitated by J.P. Morgan, remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.
