LEAD TECH Replicates Factory Floor Conditions at Pack Expo 2026
Instead of static hardware displays, LEAD TECH is installing a fully functional conveyor line at booth LU-8931 during Pack Expo International 2026. From October 18–21 in Chicago, the manufacturer will demonstrate its integrated UV laser and continuous inkjet systems at actual production speeds to simulate real-world factory environments.

The centerpiece of the exhibit is an integrated UV laser marking machine mounted over a moving belt. By housing the laser unit, controller, and power supply in a single compact chassis, the system aims to simplify installation for plant managers looking to integrate coding hardware without complex rewiring. The unit is available in 5W and 10W configurations, designed to mark pharmaceutical packaging, flexible films, and electronic components without requiring consumables or ink.
Alongside the laser, the booth will feature the company’s i9 series of continuous inkjet printers, configured for micro-character and high-speed applications on materials ranging from PET plastic to metal cans. Application engineers will be available throughout the four-day event to conduct live substrate testing and provide consultations on line-speed requirements.
General Manager Mr. Cauf noted that the decision to build a live line stems from a need for transparency in equipment performance. For buyers, the demonstration serves as a practical stress test, backed by the company's track record of 70,000 global installations across five continents. The firm points to a 2020 project in the Philippines, where 86 batch coding machines have operated for five years without a single service call, as a primary benchmark for its equipment reliability. Attendees interested in specific line-speed testing can schedule consultations at McCormick Place or via the company's support email.
