Haslam College of Business Climbs Financial Times Executive MBA Rankings
The Executive MBA program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, has climbed to No. 6 among U.S. public institutions in the 2026 Financial Times rankings. This jump of seven spots marks the seventh consecutive year the program has secured a position on the prestigious international list of top business schools.

The Haslam College of Business now holds the 22nd spot among all U.S. colleges, reflecting a nine-place improvement over the previous year. Worldwide, the program sits at No. 82. These rankings derive from a combination of alumni performance metrics, faculty research data, and institutional standards. Graduates report an average salary of $247,139 three years post-graduation, securing the college a No. 7 ranking for alumni pay among U.S. public universities. The program also achieved a No. 4 ranking for overall alumni satisfaction and reached No. 3 in the category of career aims achieved. Amy Cathey, associate dean for graduate and executive education, attributes this sustained success to a curriculum tailored for working professionals. To qualify for the Financial Times assessment, programs must maintain accreditation from either the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business or EQUIS, operate on a cohort-based model, and graduate at least 30 students annually.
