Most patients with health insurance can receive these routine vaccines without out-of-pocket costs, with savings applied automatically to loyalty accounts. Bill Shinton, interim president of Kroger Health, noted that combining grocery shopping with clinical services provides a level of accessibility that directly benefits community health.

Medical guidelines currently recommend annual flu shots for everyone six months and older, while COVID-19 vaccinations are advised for adults 18 and older. The company also offers RSV protection for adults 75 and older, as well as those aged 50 to 74 with specific chronic conditions. Pharmacists are available on-site to help patients navigate eligibility and confirm if multiple vaccines can be safely administered during a single visit. Appointments can be managed through the company's digital portal.
