Marqeta Investors Reach $13 Million Settlement in Securities Lawsuit
Investors who held Marqeta Inc. stock or options between February 28, 2024, and November 4, 2024, are eligible for compensation following a $13 million settlement. The agreement resolves a class action lawsuit pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California regarding securities litigation.

The settlement, which awaits final approval from Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers, offers a path for recovery for those who acquired Class A common stock or traded related call and put options during the specified period. A fairness hearing is scheduled for January 12, 2027, at the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building in Oakland, California, where the court will evaluate the proposed distribution plan and requests for legal fees.
To participate in the settlement fund, eligible parties must submit a valid Claim Form no later than December 31, 2026. Those who prefer to opt out of the class or file formal objections to the terms must submit their requests by December 22, 2026. Detailed documentation and instructions are available through the court-appointed claims administrator, Epiq, at www.MarqetaSecuritiesSettlement.com. Investors are advised to direct all inquiries to the administrator or lead counsel, Glancy Prongay Wolke & Rotter LLP, rather than contacting the court directly.
