Celltrion to Unveil New ZYMFENTRA Data at ACG 2026
Celltrion USA will present fresh clinical findings on ZYMFENTRA at the American College of Gastroenterology 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting in Nashville. The upcoming presentations highlight the drug's performance in Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, specifically addressing treatment interruptions and patient outcomes in ileum-dominant cases.

The research, scheduled for October 13 and 14, offers insight into how patients respond to subcutaneous infliximab after switching from intravenous therapy. Dr. Marla Dubinsky of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai will lead the presentations, which include a late-breaking analysis comparing subcutaneous and intravenous delivery methods. One key study examines the impact of prior anti-drug antibodies on clinical outcomes, suggesting that previous antibody status does not necessarily compromise the efficacy of transitioning to the subcutaneous form. Data from the LIBERTY-CD and LIBERTY-UC trials indicate that clinical response is generally sustained over 78 to 80 weeks regardless of prior antibody exposure.
A second analysis focuses on ileum-dominant Crohn's disease, utilizing a propensity score-matched comparison of 140 patients. Results at Week 54 show that those treated with subcutaneous infliximab achieved higher rates of clinical remission and endoscopic response compared to those receiving the intravenous version. These findings aim to provide clinicians with clearer pathways for managing patients with varying treatment histories and disease presentations.
