First Financial Bank Employees Mobilize for Annual Day of Service
More than 1,100 employees of First Financial Bank will trade their desks for local volunteer projects across Texas this October 12. Marking the institution's 11th annual Day of Service, the initiative aligns with a broader statewide campaign organized by the Texas Bankers Association to bolster local community support.

On the upcoming holiday, bank staff will disperse to various nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations to assist with tasks ranging from food distribution to neighborhood sanitation efforts. This marks the second consecutive year the Abilene-headquartered bank has integrated its internal service tradition with the Texas Banks Community Day of Service, a collaborative effort involving multiple financial institutions.
David Bailey, President and CEO of First Financial Bankshares, noted that dedicating a day off to volunteer work serves as a testament to the organization's commitment to its local footprint. Headquartered in Abilene, First Financial Bankshares currently operates 81 locations throughout the state, maintaining its regional presence through both retail banking and wealth management divisions.
