New Platform Maps AI Data Center Proposals to Boost Local Oversight
More than 70% of Americans oppose data center construction in their immediate vicinity, yet many discover these developments only after local authorities have finalized plans. Architect Digital, a new free platform, aims to bridge this information gap by tracking over 1,100 proposed projects across all 50 states.

The tool allows users to enter a ZIP code to identify nearby data center proposals, monitor community sentiment, and verify the public stances of local, state, and federal officials. By providing a centralized hub for project data, the company seeks to counter issues like coordinated inauthentic behavior online, where bot networks can artificially inflate support or opposition for specific developments.
Janine Yorio, a spokesperson for Architect Digital, stated that the platform’s mission centers on equipping residents with the tools to understand local developments and ensure their voices reach decision-makers. The service is built using blockchain technology but remains free to use, without any current cryptocurrency or token issuance. Beyond simple tracking, the platform encourages users to organize community groups and share verified facts, ultimately aiming to provide everyday Americans with the leverage necessary to engage in formal negotiations regarding land use and infrastructure in their neighborhoods.
