DigiKey Adds VPT High-Reliability Power Converters to Catalog

The integration of VPT’s portfolio onto the DigiKey platform targets teams requiring high-reliability hardware for demanding environments. The VXR series, designed for unmanned systems and commercial avionics, utilizes V-SHIELD encapsulation to withstand extreme vibration, shock, and thermal stress. These units maintain operational integrity within a temperature range of -55 °C to +105 °C. The rollout includes the recently launched VXR125-27000S, which marks the series' first 270 V input DC-DC converter.

Alongside the VXR line, the standard VPT series remains available for projects requiring performance in harsh conditions, operating reliably between -55 °C and +100 °C. Trevor, Vice President of North American Sales, noted that the move aims to simplify component sourcing for organizations already familiar with the DigiKey interface. While these products are now more accessible, VPT reminds customers that all hardware remains subject to export license restrictions, including ITAR regulations, necessitating verification of technical data prior to purchase.
