The intrusion occurred between July 22 and July 31, 2025, according to the resort's official disclosure. After discovering suspicious activity on the final day of the breach, the organization launched an internal investigation to identify the scope of the unauthorized file access. While the resort reports no evidence of fraudulent activity linked to the stolen information so far, the breadth of the compromised data presents a significant security risk for guests.

Potentially exposed information includes names, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, and various sensitive health-related documents. Ocean Edge has established a dedicated assistance line at 844-593-8439, operating weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET, to support those affected. Management is currently reviewing internal security protocols and implementing additional safeguards to prevent future network compromises.
