Congruex Adopts Speedchain to Streamline Telecom Infrastructure Spending
Congruex, a top-ranked builder of critical telecommunications and data center networks, has transitioned its financial operations to the Speedchain platform. The move aims to replace manual expense tracking with automated, project-linked transaction management as the firm scales its fiber optic deployment across the United States.

Ranked 14th on ENR’s 2026 Top 500 Design Firms list, Congruex manages a workforce of over 3,000 employees. The company’s leadership sought a specialized card and expense platform capable of keeping pace with the demands of modern AI-driven infrastructure development. Kevin O’Hara, CEO of Congruex, cited the platform’s deep understanding of construction-specific workflows as the primary driver for the partnership.
The integration provides the finance team with real-time visibility into spending across various jobsites and crews. By automatically coding and matching transactions to specific projects, the system eliminates the administrative burden of retroactive reconciliation. This shift reflects a broader industry trend toward adopting vertically integrated software that links corporate spending directly to existing ERP systems and project data. Speedchain CEO Daniel Cage noted that digitizing these traditionally manual financial tasks allows field teams to focus on the physical construction of the nation’s digital groundwork.
