LilliLandia Games Brings Minietopia to Life at Gamescom 2026
With over 10 million pre-registrations already secured, LilliLandia Games is turning its ambitious cozy sim, Animula Nook, into a physical reality. At this year's gamescom in Cologne, the studio is debuting a major beta that shrinks players down into the oversized, magical world of Minietopia.
The developer is transforming Hall 08.1 into an immersive slice of their miniature world, complete with a four-metre-tall inflatable Wupa and themed activations. Visitors can access a hands-on demo to test the latest build, which features refined rendering, updated character animations, and expanded areas like the Wupa Woods and windowsill homesteads. The demo invites players to scavenge for resources—such as bottled sunlight—and experiment with new customization options for their tiny in-game avatars.
For those not attending the event in person, LilliLandia has launched an interactive virtual booth compatible with PC and mobile devices. This digital space mirrors the physical experience, offering access to mini-games and the latest build updates. Following the gamescom showcase, the title is slated for a multi-platform release on PC, Mac, Switch 2, and PlayStation 5, with wishlists currently open across major storefronts.
