Norwegian Cruise Line Unveils Wellness and Dining for Norwegian Aura
Norwegian Cruise Line has detailed the guest experience aboard the upcoming Norwegian Aura, the largest ship in the company’s history. Set to launch in May 2027, the vessel introduces a massive two-deck thermal spa complex, the line’s first dedicated Indian specialty restaurant, and tech-driven immersive dining.

The Norwegian Aura, representing the latest evolution of the Prima Plus Class, focuses on expanding guest choice through purposeful design. A primary highlight is the Mandara Spa, which spans two decks and features the industry’s most extensive thermal suite. Designed by the Rockwell Group, the facility incorporates contrast therapy through 15 distinct wellness experiences, including a 360-degree Sensory Rain Pool, a snow cave, and various plunge pools. These amenities are supported by advanced medi-spa services, such as IV therapy and acupuncture, alongside a high-tech fitness center.
Culinary options on board total 22 food and beverage venues. The new specialty restaurant, Tamara, focuses on North Indian cuisine, while The Panorama Room introduces a complimentary dining concept using LED displays and synchronized audio to alter the environment during meals. Existing favorites, such as the Indulge Food Hall and various bars like the Penrose Atrium, have been reconfigured to increase seating capacity and improve flow. Following its inaugural Mediterranean voyage from Trieste to Barcelona on May 21, 2027, the ship will transition to Caribbean itineraries, including stops at the company’s private islands in Belize and the Bahamas.
