Atomicwork Gathers Tech Leaders for FUSION '26 AI Conference
Vinod Khosla, Aaron Levie, and executives from OpenAI and Meta will headline Atomicwork’s second annual FUSION conference on September 29. Held at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, the invitation-only event focuses on the practical integration of AI agents into enterprise workflows and the shifting economics of human-AI teams.
The conference shifts the conversation beyond simple AI tooling, targeting the structural changes required to build a functional 'human + AI' workforce. CIOs and enterprise leaders will examine governance, cybersecurity, and the transition of AI from basic coding assistants to autonomous coworkers capable of executing business tasks. Atomicwork CEO Vijay Rayapati noted that the industry is moving into a phase where technology leaders must define clear responsibilities for AI systems, treating them as active participants in service delivery rather than passive utilities.
Key sessions include a fireside chat between Vinod Khosla and Okta CEO Todd McKinnon, alongside panels featuring experts from Palo Alto Networks, Zuora, and Meta Superintelligence Labs. Discussions will cover the mechanics of agentic AI and the redesign of organizational processes. Zuora CIO Karthik Chakkarapani, who is slated to speak on building AI operating models, argues that the competitive advantage in the coming years will belong to firms that fundamentally re-engineer how their operations sense, decide, and learn.
